The technological leap from 10BB to 16BB

This upgrade is not only a numerical change, but also a comprehensive innovation in battery performance and production efficiency. The 16BB technology means that there are 16 thin grid lines on the front of the cell, which can collect current more effectively and reduce resistance loss than the traditional 10BB design, thus improving the current transmission efficiency of the cell.
In addition, combined with the application of multi-busbar technology, the 16BB design further reduces the use of silver paste and significantly reduces production costs, which is of great significance for cost control and sustainable development of the photovoltaic industry. At the same time, compared with the 158/166 module, the 182 module has a higher container utilization rate, which can be loaded 10-20% more per container on average, and the relative capacity is increased by more than 15%.

The upgrade of our 16BB production line is not only a technical breakthrough, but also a positive response to the technological progress of the photovoltaic industry. 16BB technology is widely used in mono-crystalline silicon high-efficiency batteries, especially N-type Top Con batteries, which have become the first choice for the construction of photovoltaic power stations with their high conversion efficiency and excellent power generation performance.
16BB ultra-fine gate metallization, high-density packaging and other quality and efficiency enhancement technologies, with lower attenuation, better temperature coefficient, higher double-sided rate and better low-light power generation performance and other advantages, resulting in more excellent power generation capacity. By using 16BB technology, the battery modules produced by YS Solar not only improve power generation efficiency, but also reduce system costs, bringing higher return on investment and lower kilowatt-hour cost to users.
